We have another Books & Booze evening in store for you. On Friday the 13th of February, we will discuss the classic Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
As the next Books & Booze session will be on the eve of Valentine’s Day this year, we of course picked a romance story. Also staying in theme with this year’s trend of revisiting classic romance stories — with multiple movie adaptations of the classics set to appear — you can watch Wuthering Heights with Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as the lovely (?) Heathcliff and Catherine on the 12th of February. In addition, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice will be adapted into a Netflix series in 2026. As we already revisited Wuthering Heights briefly in one of our previous sessions, we thought it would be nice to refresh our minds with the other love story in this year’s Books & Booze.
